Massage not only feels good but helps with behavior too! Dogs who tend to be reactive or stress in certain situations can really benefit by regular massage. A gentle application of the relaxation massage routine only takes 3 to 5 minutes and it lowers blood pressure and promotes relaxation. It is of great benefit for those excitable dogs.  A weekly full body massage will also contribute to relaxing tight muscles and give you prime feedback on how your dog is doing fitness wise.

Visit the Animal Awareness website and read from the free library how you can actively participate in the wellness and good health of your pet. Get visual guidance o the application of the various massage routines from the DVD library, where over 60 mini-dvds (8 to 10 minutes each) will show you exactly what to do for each technique/routine, just as he I was there in person to teach you.

Learning these techniques will give you the skills to help your dog(s) become more comfortable in any stressful situations. Also, massage will benefit the aging dog. It stimulates the blood to the key joints which helps with overall stiffness and muscle soreness.

Do not hesitate, and get involved. Your pet will love you for it!
